CITY House is a 501 (C) (3), private, non-profit agency that provides emergency shelter for runaway, homeless, abandoned and abused children ages 10 to 17 in Collin County and surrounding areas.
CITY House also offers a Transitional Living Program that provides transitional housing and services to young homeless adults ages 16 to 21. Further, our Family Center provides crisis intervention counseling services to families with children between the ages of 0 and 17.

In addition, we are excited to announce our new shelter project and fundraising campaign. “My Friend's House” will provide an immediate safe shelter for children, ages 0 to 9, who have been physically, sexually and/or emotionally abused. The Rotary Clubs of Plano will support this project.
The Plano/Richardson chapter of NARFE meets the 2nd Thursday of every month at the Richardson Senior Center, 820 Arapaho, Richardson, at 9:45 am. Business meeting and informative program. The Pathmakers, the auxiliary of Hope's Door, was formed four years ago to support the needs of Hope's Door through community education/awareness and fund-raising. AMBUCS is a charitable/service organization that provides scholarships to therapists and AmTrykes to Special-needs children. AmTrykes are specially designed therapeutic tricycles that have a chain drive from the front axel to the handlebars and can be powered by either hands or feet.
